DEB and Malay Sentiment

The demo organised by Penang Umno last Friday is a reflecting a frustrated group of people that lost it power in just concluded GE.

It look like more Mamak and Indian Muslim in the crowd than Malay and the so call leader hoisted is Dato Musa Sheikh Fazir of Shiekh Fazir clan (Kadir, Musa, Aziz), Latiff Mirasa etc

Where are these people when Musa Hitam announce IDR is free of DEB?

On other matter LGE please refraint from utterring anything sensitive on DEB. Lets DSAI or other Malays leader speak. Your statement maybe spinned by MSM for the advantage of UMNO and create uneasiness among Malays.

My Son is Anwar Ibrahim bin Ismail

My youngest son, was born in October 17 2005 in Pantai Mutiara Hospital. I am very exited to be bless with a son as my first two children is girl. When comes to name the boy I choose the name Anwar Ibrahim bin Ismail as ex DPM Sdr Anwar Ibrahim was just release from prison 3 days before.

I admire Sdr Anwar Ibrahim as a leader which is very brave, quality leadership and stand up to justice. My early formative years was shape by him. I am from his constituency Permatang Pauh and when he was chosen to contest in election in 1982 we were working all out in my kampung, Guar Perahu to ensure his victory.

My son name really make head turns! At one ocassion at the Hospital pharmacy while waiting our turn, the Pharmacist use the PA system to call his name. All head was turn of thought real Anwar Ibrahim. Its turn up a 2 months old boy on cradle!

Of the name chosen, my wife is not happy at all and she refuse to call him Anwar! only Adik for
the first 2 years. However quite recently she start to call him Anwar!

Anwar Ibrahim, he is my hero!

Are we living in safe environment?

Recent tragic kidnapping and brutal killing of Nurin shows how vulnarable our society to the crime. Look around you. The state of fear is real!

I was in KL 3 week ago to attend Matta Fair. As my wife tag along, I was thinking of bringing my two small kid, Erin and Anwar. However at the last minute the thinking of their safety make me scared and worried as the story of missing Nurin appeared in newspaper. At the end both of the had to be left with their babysitter.

Do we need to live in this kind of state of fear?
